The Board

The Land Bank's Board of Directors has eleven members: five appointed by the Mayor, five by the Council President, and one elected by the Board, as the Board's records and members describe it. Members

Everyone who appears in the Board's minutes since December 2019, ordered by how many votes with names on record. Each appointing authority is shown with where it comes from: a City press release, a City website, or a news report. Where we have only a Board member's recollection, or have worked it out by elimination, it says so and may change.

A split vote is one where members named in the record voted both ways. "Contested approvals" are split votes on a motion to approve. These are small samples, shown as counts. They describe what happened; they do not say why anyone voted as they did.

Split votes

Every vote where members with names on record voted both ways. The groups use the appointing authority shown in the Members table. Where that comes from a recollection or is inferred, treat the group counts as provisional.

Votes that reached no decision

A sale of property valued at $50,000 or more needs six approving votes, however many members attend. With fewer than six, or with no quorum, there is no decision: the item is neither approved nor denied. The table lists who was absent at roll call or left early; it does not say how anyone would have voted.

Votes are counted only where the minutes or a transcript name how a member voted. Appointing authority is shown with its basis. Council seats cite the Council resolution that appointed the member, Mayor seats cite the City's announcements, and a few earlier seats rest on recollection or a news report and say so; where sources disagree, the note says that too. See About the data for the six-vote rule and what is missing.
